Nigerian music legend, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, stirred up conversations online after a viral video showed him proposing to Edo State House of Assembly member, Natasha Osarawu. In the clip, 2Baba shares a warm embrace with Osarawu, spraying cash, and dances with her before presenting a ring amidst cheers from friends and well-wishers.
This proposal comes shortly after the singer created a buzz on social media by publicly declaring his relationship with the lawmaker in an Instagram video. The announcement followed news of his separation from his wife, Annie Idibia.
Addressing speculations, 2Baba clarified in his video that his relationship with Natasha Osarawu is independent of the challenges in his marriage to Annie. Speaking candidly, he described Natasha as an “amazing, brilliant woman” who has been unfairly labeled as a homewrecker.
“I said what I said. All of us will be alright,” he stated. “Yes, I love her. She’s amazing, she’s cool, and I want to marry her.”
The proposal has left fans divided, with many sharing mixed reactions online.
