Iwuanyanwu; Ohaneze Diaspora Delegations To Arrive Nigeria From 10 Countries

 As the final burial ceremony of the late Chief Engr. Emmanuel Iwuanyawu CFR (Ahaejiagamba Ndigbo) approaches, the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in diaspora has expressed their resolve to honour the respected Igbo leader with delegations from around the world.

The Diaspora Ohanaeze will arrive in Nigeria from the USA, Canada, England, Ireland, South Africa, Libya, Ghana, China, Cameroun and Kenya. In a meeting attended by representatives of the mentioned Countries, convened by Lady Aqueen Ibeto, President of Ohanaeze UK/ North Ireland and convener of “Ohanaeze Ndigbo Diaspora” to ensure the burial participation of Ndigbo in diaspora, Aqueen Ibeto insisted that no sacrifice is too much in honour of the iconic Igbo leader. The delegation will pay homage to Chief Iwuanyawu’s legacy and stand as a support base for his family during this difficult time.

During the meeting, members of the Ohanaeze Diaspora expressed their heartfelt condolences to the Iwuanyawus, friends and the entire Igbo Nation. They acknowledged Chief Iwuanyawu’s exemplary leadership, unwavering dedication, and visionary contributions to the Igbo nation. His remarkable ability to mobilize the Igbo community and his commitment to advancing the interests of the Igbo people both locally and internationally underscored his influential role as a great leader.

According to Lady Aqueen Ibeto, the Ohanaeze Diaspora convener, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyawu was not just a leader; he was a beacon of hope and a strong advocate of unity within the Igbo communities. His tireless efforts ensured that the values and traditions of the Igbo people remain vibrant for generations to come. He was a man of great integrity and vision, Chief Iwuanyawu cultivated a spirit of togetherness and cooperation among diverse groups.

The Secretary of Ohanaeze Diaspora, Mazi Emenike Anigbogu recalled that Chief Iwuanyawu’s foundational work in various organizations, particularly within Ndigbo, helped to articulate the aspirations of the Igbo people on both national and international platforms.

The meeting was attended by prominent figures within the Ohanaeze Ndigbo in diaspora, including Lady Aqueen Ibeto, Convener of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide Diaspora and President of Ohanaeze UK and N/Ireland and Dr Ifeanyi Ogbonna, President Ohanaeze, North Carolina, Deputy Convener. Mazi Innocent Obiegbu, President of Ohanaeze New York and Publicity Secretary Ohanaeze Diaspora;

Mazi Emenike Anigbogu, President of Ohanaeze Boston, New England, Secretary of Ohanaeze Diaspora;
